Stories Welcome Reflections
The 'bits and pieces' listed on the left come from a variety of sources, including college and university assessment writing, short pieces published in local newspapers, and incomplete fragments written for some reason or another.

There may be several themes (or obsessions) apparent in these pieces, which I will leave for you to discern. Some pieces may one day be re-written or finished and made into something else, but for the time being they are as they are, so enjoy or not, as the case may be!

"Writers end up writing about their obsessions. Things that haunt them; things they can't forget; stories they carry in their bones waiting to be released. And your main obsessions have power: they are what you will come back to in your writing over and over again. And you'll create new stories around them. So you might as well give in to them. They probably take over your life whether you want them to or not, so you ought to get them to work for you".
